PRECAUTIONS: Choose a stove of the right size for the bottom of the pot to ensure stability since cast iron has a high specific gravity. Enameled cast iron should be heated gradually and never left on heat sources without food. Do not allow the flame to overflow from the bottom, and when cooking, handle carefully with the help of potholders or silicone oven mitt as the handles will burn. To keep enamel/ non-stick surfaces unaffected and undamaged, use silicone or wooden utensils and avoid cutting food directly into pans. FIRST USE: Before use, wash the pot thoroughly with warm soapy water, rinse and dry. As soon as the pan reaches temperature, reduce the gas or electricity supply: the thermal conductivity capacity of cast iron allows it to cook and maintain heat for a long time, promoting energy savings and allowing cooking over low heat. AFTER USE: Allow the body to cool to room temperature for at least 15 minutes before introducing cold water. CLEANING: It is advisable to allow the cookware to cool before washing. If any food residue is struggling to come off, do not use abrasive or corrosive products, polishing powders or sponges, but fill the pan with warm water, wait for the residue to soften, then remove it with the help of a nonabrasive sponge. WASH: Wash with warm water and dish detergent using a nonabrasive sponge. Because they are enameled, these saucepans, pans and plates are also dishwasher safe due to the special technology applied to the enameling method. DRYING: It is essential to let the pot dry thoroughly before storing it.
