Genoa: aromatic fragrance with spicy olfactory facet. Essence dedicated to the city of Genoa, created on the occasion of the event “Genova Profumata, the First Scented City in the World,” a unique initiative, a world premiere, that from September 12 to October 13, 2019 saw the creation of an olfactory path of more than two kilometers and five hundred liters of fragrance in the historic center of Genoa, with the placement of more than two hundred ambient diffusers in 2.5-liter magnum format. It has been taken on as the official olfactory logo of the city of Genoa, the first and only city in the world to have an olfactory brand. Fragrance inspired by the symbolic scents of Genoa and the Ligurian Riviera, starting with the notes of basil, the city’s emblematic aroma, aromatic herbs, unique and exclusive smells of the Riviera, to the spicy notes, to recall the history of Genoa Superba, an ancient Maritime Republic and queen of the spice trade, as well as a meeting point between the West and the East. A combination that gives rise to a special edition fragrance, available exclusively as an ambient diffuser.
